Winterfall

Mix between Open-World Action-RPG and Town Management. Made with Unity3D. Project in my internship at Clan Latria. I worked on the player’s movement, the RPG stats and the inventory system.

Background

I saw the game in an article, and contacted the devs for an internship as a 4th RUBIKA student and a gameplay developer. I like the concept and it is ambitious so I tought I would not lack interesting work.

  • About my work

My work

I worked a little on the player's movement, more specifically its speed with a car-like system. Then I spend some time on RPG stats to have a good base for futur features. My biggest feature was the inventory system (more than half of the internship). It is quite a special inventory and I not only implemented it, I also help in its design. The thing was that we wanted a diegetic inventory with many possibilities and restrictions, but it made it harder (and funnier) to develop.
